Today we honor the servicemen and servicewoman who have defended our country. It is only fitting that we take one day a year to pause and give thanks to these braves people and their families for what they have done to protect our freedoms.

Saw kids on the corner waiting for the school bus and they were dressed up like indians. I wondered what was up with that? So I stopped and asked the little brat that live across the street from my place. He said for Thanksgiving the school kids were supposed to dress up as either a pilgrim or an indian. I think there are going to be a whole lot of indians running that school today!

I’m SO looking forward to 2009! This is going to be MY year. I can feel it in my bones! I have a great job, a wonderful family, lots of friends. Everything is going to fall into place and be smooth, especially with a new president coming into power and all the good things he’s promised to bring.

I have a busy next couple of days doing the family visits and dinners and such. We have a lot of traditions to keep up. So I hope you get all the gifts you wanted and that you have a wonderful holiday with the loved ones of your choice.
